Rita Irene George Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita Irene George of Avon Lake, Ohio, who passed away on November 10, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Shays (Baird) and Donald Shays; her son Michael George; and her siblings, Donna Hall and Robert Shays.
She is survived by: her husband Danny George (Danny); her son Donald George; her daughter-in-law Debbie of Avon Lake; and her grandsons, Jeremy George (Ashley) of North Ridgeville and Benjamin George of North Ridgeville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Busch Funeral Home (163 Avon Belden Rd, Avon Lake, OH 44012). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. An entombment will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Resthaven Memory Gardens (3700 Center Rd, Avon, OH 44011).
