He was predeceased by: his father Michael Sr.; his uncle Jeff Brant Sr.; and his aunt Diane Brant. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his daughter Melina (Stephen); his mother Sandra; his sister Stephanie Hanchosky (Chuck); his sisters-in-law, Pranee Repuyan and Jeanne Nazario (Joe); his uncles, Tim, Pat MacAvoy, Mike and Jerry Brant; his aunt Eleanor Brant; his nieces and nephews, Aydin, Devin, Dylan, Nico, Gino, Lillee, Eliana and Isabella; and his friend Rocky.
