She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Sawczyn and Marian Sawczyn. She is survived by: her husband Thomas G. Novak; her son Gregory Schumacher-Novak (Emily); her grandsons, Jacob, Benjamin and Levi; her siblings, Jean Eakin (Michael), Doris Peters (Michael), Ellen Reith (William) and Charles Sawczyn (Lucy); and her sister-in-law Cindy Wright (Colin). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
