He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal and Herman Spieth; and his siblings, Benny Spieth and Beverley Sarria. He is survived by: his wife Sharon C. Spieth; and his children, Todd K. Spieth of Bay Village, Eric J. Spieth of Westlake, Ohio and Kelley S. Needham of Vermilion, Ohio. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
