John Balmat Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Balmat of Avon Lake, Ohio, who passed away on June 15, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter C. Balmat and Hazel M. Moulin; his wife Marian; his siblings, Beau, Paul, Bob, Donald, Albert, Virginia and Theresa; and his son-in-law Robert Stephen.
He is survived by: his children, William J. Balmat (Deborah), Sue Stephen (late Robert), Timothy J. Balmat (Melanie) and JoAnn Bacnik (Michael); and his brother Thomas Balmat. He is also survived by 25 children.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be forwarded to the Wayne A. Leon – 86' Scholarship Fund thru St. Ignatius High School.
