Plasencia (Brenda) of Elyria, Kim Mossbruger of Walton Hills and Dena Mead of Amherst; his grandchildren, Mick, Mike and Jaret; and his brother Rick Plasencia (Susie).

“I am a 1963 graduate of Clearview High School. I played basketball for Clearview High School in 1962 and 1963. When I was younger I got to see Gil play both football and basketball at Clearview. He was a great athlete and an inspiration to me to want to pay. I have never seen a high school player that could through a football as far as Gil could. Have never forgotten him or his big arm. He was one of Clearview' great athletes. Daniel Cain, class of 63.”
