She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry C. Lather and Lillian Lather (Esenwein); her husband David C. Smith; and her siblings, Evelyn Manecke, Betty McKillip and Lavern Lather.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Smith (Margaret Jackson) of Naples, FL, Jeffrey Smith (Rebecca) of Badin Lake, NC and Maureen Meeker (Andrew) of Avon Lake, OH. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
