Daniel R. Klonk Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel R. Klonk (Avon Lake, Ohio), who passed away on June 24, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Klonk and Anita Klonk (Keppler); and his siblings, Shirley Mey (Clarence), Theodore Klonk, Patricia Kuechel (Don) and James Klonk (Dorothy).

He is survived by: his wife Kay Klonk; his children, Linda Byrd (Jerry), Daniel J. Klonk (Kitty), Sherry Donegan (Patrick) and Brian Klonk (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Cari Smerk, Colleen Comodeca (Peter), Anthony Smerk (Ashley), Erin Francati (Matt), Kaylee Benedick (Evan), Jessica Scott (Tyler), Mary Guliano (Rob), Alexis Klonk (Nick Lenney), Molly Klonk, Jared Aslaksen (Emily Goss), Dillon Aslaksen, Daniel Donegan and Abigail Klonk; his great grandchildren, William Guliano, Addisyn, Avery Smerk, Charlotte Scott, Everett and Vivian Benedick; and his sister-in-law Annamae Klonk.

The family wishes that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 in Dan's name.
