He is survived by: his wife Emilia Cua Sloan; his children, William A. Sloan III (Barbara) of Austintown and Shirley A. Sloan of Austintown; his daughter-in-law Faye Sloan of Austintown; and his grandchildren, William A. Sloan IV, Sheila Kapics (Michael), Lisa George (Dave), Rebecca Alexander (Thomas), Teddi Reese (Ryan) and Kari Duponty (Mike). He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
