She was predeceased by: her parents, John Shaw and Dagmar Shaw (Fasman); her daughter Jacqueline Ellis (Jack Sallaz); her grandson Daniel Staffrey Jr.; and her brothers, John and Lyle Shaw (Carl Fizet).
She is survived by: her husband Jack Sallaz; her daughters, Kathryne Rose of Canfield, Diana Brown (Lou) of Youngstown, Bonnie Vrona (Joseph) of Campbell and Judy Hudzik of Austintown; and her sister Virginia Shinn of California. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family request any donations to be made to the Mill Creek Metro Parks Rose Garden in her name.
