He was predeceased by: his parents, John Serenko and Anna Slavkovsky Serenko; and his siblings, John Serenko, Catherine Dulick, Mary Oakley and Steve Serenko.
He is survived by: his wife Ann M. Soltis Serenko; his children, Dr. Theresa Serenko-Hatcher of Omaha, Neb., Dr. Ann Serenko of St. Louis, Dr. Thomas Serenko (Yelena Gerdt) of Columbus and Agnes Serenko of Dayton; and his grandchildren, Monica, Joanna, Katya, Lukas, Grace, Holly, Stas and Yanna.
