With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sallirae J. Absalom (Austintown, Ohio), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Sallirae left this world on February 23, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Schreiber and Kathryn Powers Schreiber; her husband James Edward Absalom; her daughter Pamela Bacak; her great grandchild Lillianna Nicole; her sister Nancy L. Tkalec; her brother-in-law Steve Tkalec; and her brother Victor Schreiber.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Bokesch (Ray), Mary DelSignore and Theresa Doinoff (Nick); her brother Charles K. Schreiber; her son-in-law Fred Bacak; and her grandchildren, April Lobaugh (Rick), David Kagle (Erin), Erika Campolito, Alexandra Deonofrio (Mike), Taylor Henderson, Jason Doinoff (Leah), Cassandra Slipski (John) and Courtney Doinoff. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Parish (4490 Norquest Blvd, Austintown, OH 44515). A Mass will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made out to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
