He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph Lutz and Nancy Lutz (Inglis); his significant other Jacquelyn Q. Hedden; and his siblings, Ralph Lutz, Jr. and Susan J. Connelly.

He is survived by : his children, Angela Hyland of Austintown, Wendy Orson of St. Louis, MO and Richard Lutz (Melissa) of Charlestown, RI; and his brother Charles Lutz (Kathy) of Poland. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 10th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM and at 3:30 PM at the Lane Funeral Homes-Canfield Chapel (65 N Broad St, Canfield, OH 44406). A memorial service was held on Monday, June 10th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
