He is survived by: his children, Kyle Peer (Brittany) and Lauren McGhee (Robert); his stepson Anthony Barnett; his son Bill Hassenplug (Charda); his grandchildren, Katelynn Erme, Ariana McGhee, Tucker Peer and Connor Peer; his siblings, Jean E. Peer, Michelle A. Johnston-Windsor, Duane R. Peer, Wendy A. Peer, Michael D. Peer, William E. Peer and Stanley J. Peer; and his friend Lisa Wilkinson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
