With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norman M. Hoefler of Austintown, Ohio, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on June 15, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Norman may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Norman touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthias Hoefler and Julia Hoefler (Mick); his wife Jeanne; his daughter Debbie; and his brother Joe.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Hoefler (Joyce) of Berlin Center and Cheryl Leonard (Clay) of Pittsburgh; and his grandchildren, Curt, Claire Leonard and Billy Soccorsy. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
