With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Jean Zlogar Kohler of Austintown, Ohio, born in Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on May 2, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Glavic Zlogar and Joseph A. Zlogar; her husband Andrew J. Kohler III (Andy); her son Daniel A. Kohler (Danny) of Youngstown; her siblings-in-law, Florence Prossick, Gertrud Kohler, Harry DePietro, Chuck Prossick and George Kohler; and her nephews, Keith Kohler and Karl Kohler.
She is survived by: her children, David J. Kohler of Austintown and Amy J. Nolan of Solon; her grandchildren, Zachary Kohler (Sara) of Akron, Molly Barnhart (David) of Nanzdietschweiler, Germany, Brendan Nolan of Solon, Casey Skufca (Kim) of Germantown and Heather Hively (Fred) of Boardman; her nieces and nephews, Dee-Dee Ansbro (Shawn), Carla Vocelle (Jim), Monica Kohler (Pedro Pizarro), Christine Koehler, Andrea Kohler (Per Bjorke), David Prossick (Fran) and Harry J. DePietro; and her sister Dolores DePietro. She is also survived by six great-granddaughters; and two great-grandsons.
Memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Austintown for a Mass in memory of Jean.
