She was predeceased by : her parents, Emiddiantonio "Tony" Scarano and Sandrina DiTata Scarano; and her siblings, Annie Scarano, Florence Shannon and Dominic Scarano.

She is survived by : her children, Diana Bell (Michael) of Youngstown and Steven Pavlak (Andrea) of Austintown; her grandchildren, Megan Oelgoetz (Justin) of Clarksville, TN., Ryan Pavlak (Jennifer) of Boardman and Sean Pavlak (Joanna) of Kent; her great grandchildren, Ignatius, Ekaterina, Vander and Penelope; and her husband Stephen J. Pavlak.

In Lieu of flowers, Mary's family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association through their website at alz.org.
