He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Carelli and Rose Carelli; his wife Alice Jean Hansford; and his sisters, Viola, Loretta and Ann Marie Carelli.

He is survived by: his children, Frank Carelli (Cheryl Guyer-Anderson) of East Palestine, Ohio, Lisa Vantell of Austintown, Ohio and David Carelli (Kathy) of Canfield, Ohio; his grandchildren, Donald Mulholland, William Vantell, Anthony Carelli and Gina Carelli; his great grandchild Angelina Mulholland; and his nephew Andre Mark Wrentmore of Tennessee.

The family asks that any donations being made should be made to the American Alzheimer's Association.
