We are sad to announce that on November 21, 2023, at the age of 97, Katherine J. Novicky of Austintown, Ohio, born in Youngstown, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hoover and Mary Agnes Hannigan Hoover. She is survived by: her children, James Novicky (Patty) of Austintown, Jack Novicky (Suzanne) of New Middletown, Robert Novicky of Port Orchard, Lawrence Novicky (Kathy) of Davidsonville, Maryland, Peggy Novicky (Carole) of Canfield, Theresa Novicky of Largo and Mary Kay Cancelli of Northfield; her husband John T. Novicky; her sons, Thomas P. Novicky, Charles Novicky and David W. Novicky; her daughter-in-law Claudette Novicky; and her siblings, Lucille Johnston, Frank Hoover, Raymond Hoover, Bernard Hoover, Rita Whitehouse and JoAnne O'Neill (John Sefcik). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
In lieu of flowers, Kay's family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Kay's memory.
