With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Josephine L. Gay of Austintown, Ohio, born in Youngstown, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2024 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas A. Leach and Thelma Waller Leach; her son Michael E. Gay; her grandson Stanley David; and her siblings, Phoebe Reese, Thomas A. Leach Jr., George Leach, Priscilla Kidd, Annie Grace and Charles F. Leach Sr..
She is survived by: her children, William Gay (Becky) of Indianapolis, Traci Hemphill (McNeal) of Liberty Township, John Gay of Youngstown, Billie Boob (Chris) of Liberty Township, Paul Gay (Tammy) of Austintown and Pat Gay (Kelley) of Youngstown; and her brother William Leach of Wellsville. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and many extended family.
