He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Joseph Sr. Slanina and Eileen Madden Slanina; his wife Linda M. Brown; his sons, Joseph P. Slanina Jr. of Girard and Brian K. Slanina of Mineral Ridge; his granddaughter Callie; his siblings, Pat Cika (Frank) of Cleveland, Linda Reese of Youngstown and Michael Slanina of Michigan; and his sister-in-law Jackie Slanina.
