With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Leonard Beene of Austintown, Ohio, born in Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on April 8, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicola and Anna; his wife Marlene Serra; and his brothers, Anthony (Delores), Leonard (Mary), Rev. Joseph, Ralph (Jerry) and Hank Beene (Madeline).
He is survived by: his daughters, Michele Lowry (Tim) of Canfield and Christine Smith (Scott) of Hanoverton; his grandchildren, Austin of Canfield, Chase of Canfield, Broc Lowry of Canfield, SGT Drew C. Smith of Boardman, Cassidy Smith of Hanoverton and Alexandra Thomas (Matt) of Hanoverton; and his brothers-in-law, Vincent Serra (Delores) of Swanton and Nicholas Serra (Michelle) of Wadsworth. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
