It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen L. Grivensky of Austintown, Ohio, born in Central City, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 9, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Metro Hook and Anna Tilnak Hook; her husband Zigmond J. "Gus" Grivensky; and her siblings, Annie Vinosky, Catherine "Katie" Vislosky, Charles Hook and John Hook.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Gavalier (Bob), Lisa Carson, Jr. (George) and John Grivensky (Kim); her grandchildren, Ryan Gavalier, Oliver Carson, Gwendolyn Carson, Elliot Carson, Sullivan Carson, Finnegan Carson and John Grivensky (J. P.); her sister-in-law Isabelle "Toots" Hook; and also, Susan Seidel (late Howard "Butch" Seidel), Kim, Carrie and Kayla. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
