She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Jackson and Clara Ford Jackson; her son Raymond A. Griffin; her siblings, Ernest, Charles Jackson, Catherine Walker and Margaret Martin; her daughter-in-law Marva Griffin; her nephew Richard E. Jackson; her cousin Corrine Bevly; and also Shelby Porter.
She is survived by: her children, Sharmette M. Griffin Austin, Kevin Porter, Denise Wallace and Shawn Cotton; and her grandchildren, Blaine A. Griffin (Janette), Aaliyah Jackson (Leslie), Ragen Griffin, Amber Alexander, James, Jonathan Wallace and Russell Cotton. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
