He was predeceased by: his father Paul W. Giba. He is survived by: his mother Alice L. Slipski Giba of Austintown; his brother Atty; his nieces, Alexis R. Kelly (Brennen) of Elkins, W. Va and Gillian E. Hepp (Nicholas) of Fairplay, Colorado; his nephew Jack W. Giba of Lakewood, Ohio; and his great-nieces, Quinlyn R. of Elkins and Finley M. Kelly of Elkins.
