He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sofranko and Helen Kral Sofranko; and his brother John Sofranko. He is survived by: his wife Meg Hassel; his sons, Eric Sofranko (Carly) of Boardman and Alex Sofranko of Denver, Colo.; his grandsons, Luke and Liam Sofranko; and his siblings, Ann Marie Grimm (Jim Duffey) of Medina, Mary Jo Joyce (Marty) of Lake Forest, Ill, William Sofranko (Julie) of Dublin, Barbara Ellison (Jeff) of Mount Vernon and Janet Phillips (Pat) of Warwick, N. Y.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
