He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Jay and Mary Margaret Swogger; and his sister Patricia Hoban. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Gettan; his daughter Nancy Ruby of Austintown; his grandsons, Nate Weiser (Zoe) of Kinsman and Aaron Weiser (Esther) of Johnson City, NY; and his great grandchild Anela. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
