He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Parker and Sarah Parker (Ochs); and his siblings, Robert Parker, Betty Titus, Shirley Parker, Jack Parker and Dorothy Ziegler.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Parker; his children, Margaret Poinski (Michael), Dr. Roberta Parker, Dorie Scacchetti (Bob), Dan Spiker (Krista), Cindy Clark (Terry) and Chris Spiker (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Dr. Sara Dorris (Chris), Dr. Katie Tatar (Brian), Lizzie Poinski, Conor Culhane, Nolan Culhane (Karena), Jamie Scacchetti (Melissa), Kenny Scacchetti (Amanda), Justin Scacchetti, Jenna Spiker, Dan Spiker (Ashley), Amanda Staser (Shane), Emily Clark-Ampeaw (Cobe), Kayla Mason, Gabriella Spiker and Layla Spiker; and his great grandchildren, Michael, Sophia, Matthew, Elijah, Ada, Charlotte, Camilla and George.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lane Family Funeral Homes-Austintown Chapel (5797 Mahoning Ave, Youngstown, OH 44515). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions could be made to, Special Olympics, Mahoning County Hospice of the Valley, or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and they would also like to thank Hospice of the Valley and Windsor House at Omni Manor for the care and compassion that they provided.
