He is survived by : his wife Karen S. Johns; his children, David W. Schnurrenberger of Austintown, Katie S. Arthurs (Keith) of Alliance and Daniel C. Schnurrenberger (Caitlin) of Austintown; his sister Margaret Remias (John) of Austintown; his grandchildren, Liam, Logan Schnurrenberger, Camden, Adelaide, Lennon Arthurs, Johnnie, Taylor, Grayson and Carter Schnurrenberger; and his pet Woodrow.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Austintown Community Church (242 S Canfield-Niles Rd, Youngstown, OH 44515). A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in David's memory to Austintown Community Church or to the David G. Schnurrenberger Memorial Scholarship Fund at Fitch High School.

“To David’s family, I worked for many years with Dave at GM, then Delphi in the Systems Department. I was saddened to get the news of his passing. He was a great co-worker who always seemed to have an ‘individual folder’ of every customer or problem he worked on! (That memory brought a smile to my face)! You have my condolences.
