It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anthony Diorio of Austintown, Ohio, born in Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on October 1, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis DiOrio and Antonette DiOrio (Fusco); his wife Pauline Sobey; his siblings, Cecelia Joseph and Dr. Louis DiOrio; and his son-in-law John Fortunato.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel DiOrio (Jackie) of Mansfield, Ohio, Elaine Barker (Ed) and Jeanne DiOrio of Boardman; his brother Richard DiOrio (Phyllis) of Canfield; his grandchildren, Jill Barnhart (Jim), Dan DiOrio (Heather), Alex Barker, Captain Jacob Barker and Erin Powers (Jeff); and his great grandchildren, Zeita Beaver, Hunter, Connor, Spencer Powers, Nico DiOrio and Charlie Barker.
The DiOrio family, the funeral home and the church will all be practicing social distancing and proper health protocol.
