It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Vargo of Austintown, Ohio, born in Youngstown, Ohio, who passed away on March 29, 2023, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Novak and Anna Olenick Novak; her son-in-law R. Thomas Hood; and her siblings, Stephen Klema, Michael Klema, John Clemens, Joseph Klema, William Novak, Daniel Novak, Amelia DeCecco and Mary Rhiel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Arlene Getch of Austintown and Shirley Hood of Austintown; her grandchildren, Michael V. Getch, Carrie Hood and Shelby Farkas; her great grandchildren, Ross, Zoe Bailey, Thomas and Benjamin Farkas; and her husband Michael Vargo.
