Richard Yates Rowley Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Yates Rowley of Aurora, Ohio, born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 25, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Rowley and Charlotte Rowley; his brother Jim Rowley; and his son-in-law Burckhard Flemming. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Rowley; his children, Sarah Flemming and Matthew Rowley (Christy); his grandchildren, Ellen Flemming, Andrew Flemming, Dillon Flemming, Nick Hemmert, Aiden Hemmert, Kennedy Rowley, Averi Hemmert, Addison Rowley and Sonja Stolmar; his sister-in-law Phyllis Rowley; and his friend Denny Mervis. He is also survived by three nephews and their wives, eight great nieces and nephews, cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity of Portage County.
