He was predeceased by: his parent Garnet Starcher Porter; and his brothers, Merrill Porter (Donna) of Washington State and Kevin. He is survived by: his parent Merrill Porter; his wife Margaret; his children, Shawn Porter (Lillian) of Canton and Dawn Bowen (Marcus) of Akron; his grandchildren, Savanna and Rowan Porter; and his siblings, Edward (Anita), Steve (Cathy), Michael (Roberta), Karen Methaney (Dale) and Heather Hillyer (Jim).
