He is survived by: his wife Jeanne; his children, Mary Schultz (David), John Lawlor (Catherine) and Patrick Lawlor; and his stepchildren, Linda Darling Hammond (Allen), Jeri Darling (Lloyd Raines) and Janine Davis (late Bruce).
