It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Dennis Hogan Sr. of Aurora, Ohio, born in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, who passed away on November 25, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Schofield and Elizabeth Hogan (Apgar); his former wife Margaret Hogan (Beeghly); his brother Richard A. Hogan; and his grandson Timothy Schneider.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Smith Cost Hogan; his brother Albert S. Hogan, Jr. (Betty); his sister-in-law Shirley Hogan; his children, Beth Hansen (Brad), James Dennis Hogan, Jr., Molly Hogan (Kurt Schneider), Ellen Elsen (Jon) and Sarah Shoemaker (Dennis); and his friend Ron. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
