He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Deskins and Sarah Deskins (Evans); and his sister Virginia Tharp. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Deskins; his children, Charles R. Deskins (Susan) of Mason, David E. Deskins (Holly) of Beavercreek, Linda Baltes (Michael) of Nashville, Tenn and Janet Auber (Robert) of Mantua; and his sister Bonnie Dempsey (Jay) of Florida. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was proud to for the time he spent in raising funds for the Hattie Larlham Foundation as a way of caring for others.
