He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Harriet; his children, Meleah Ladd (Kevin), Brynn (Melissa), Robert, Michael (Andrea) and Earl Schreiner (Meija); his grandchildren, Arryngton, Alasdair, Aurelia Ladd and Lorelei Schreiner; and his sister Florence Conger (David).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Lord of Life Lutheran Church.
