He was predeceased by: his father Richard R.; his sibling Caryn; his girlfriend Marcia Branthoover; and his stepson Christopher. He is survived by: his mother Therese; his brother Rick (Louise); his stepson Jeff (Jennifer); his stepgrandsons, Daniel, Matthew and David; his nieces and nephews, Mandolyn and William (Amanda); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Alberta, Madison, Emma and William. He is also survived by his family, friends.
