She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Lee and Iva Byrd Shaffer; and her siblings, Carl Lee Shaffer, Leo Shaffer, Velma Jean Barton and Lois Shaffer.
She is survived by: her sons, David Allen Scalf (Jodonna) and Douglas Lee Scalf (Jackie); and her grandchild Bev Dean (Bart) of Atwater, OH. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
