In loving memory of James R. Mayo of Atwater, Ohio, who departed this world on April 13, 2025 at the age of 86. James leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Mayo and Sophronia Mayo; his wife Jeanne; and his siblings, Virgil, Arden, Bill, Benjamin Mayo, Anne May, Shirley Lee and Lillie Kane.
He is survived by: his children, Harold Hope, Debbie Brannen (Keith), Marie Franze and Lisa Ledford (Bobby); his grandchildren, Philip Franze (Ryle), Rachel Brannen (Andy), Scott Franze, Micheal Franze, Austin Hope and Tori Remen (T. J.); and his great grandchildren, Everett, Cooper Franze, Beau and Max Golias.
The military honors will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273).
