It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eugene C. Swonger of Atwater, Ohio, who passed away on November 18, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Eugene C. Swonger; his sister Sharon Shaffer; and his brothers-in-law, Paul Petersen and Albert McKinnon Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Rosella Swonger Sr. (Bittner); his close friend Patricia Criss; his sons, Clifford Swonger (Holly) and Shannon Swonger (Liz); his siblings, Tim Swonger, Kenny Swonger, Sandy McKinnon and Joyce Petersen; and also Tim. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Best Funeral Home (15809 Madison Rd, Middlefield, OH 44062). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
