She was predeceased by: her parents, Minus Leonhart and Florence Leonhart (Shoup); her husband Willard N. Shade; her siblings, Doris Heft and Milton Leonhart; and her grandson Brian Shade.
She is survived by: her sister Marilyn Shade of Republic; her son Rodney A. Shade (Sharon) of Attica; her stepson W. Norman Shade (Patricia) of Port Clinton; her siblings-in-law, Viola Snook and Robert Shade (Carol) of Willard; her granddaughters, Brenda Ruffing (Justin) of Attica, Heather Stockmaster (Randy) of Bellevue, Rebecca Bartalsky (Steve) of Perrysburg and Pamela Hayes (John) of Saline; and also Herb. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Attica, Ohio.
