He was predeceased by: his parents, Willliam H. Wilson and Jean Tryon Wilson; his daughter Misty Wilson; his sister Shirley; and his niece Shannon.

He is survived by: his children, Burt (Maggie) and Billie (Terry); his grandchildren, Chelsie Young (Christopher) and Chase (Madison); his daughter Jill Hogsett (Frankie); his grandchildren, Katelyn Sutton, Hannah, Jolene and Myren; his daughter Julie Wilson; his grandchild Logen Richmond; his daughter Sarah Robbins (Henry); his grandchildren, Zachery, Olivia, Emily, Layla and Aerial; his great grandchildren, Kyra and Maylee; his stepmother Wanda Wilson; his sister Linda Baysa (Richard); his niece Angie Schloss (Tyler); and his close friends, Rob and Cooky Hughes. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
