He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Owen Elmore and Lela Skaggs Elmore; his wife Liz; and his siblings, Jimmy Elmore, Mary Katherine Billiter, June Thornberry and Sue Reed.
He is survived by: his children, Gil Elmore (Patricia) of Athens, Kizzi Clark (Bill) of Guysville, Jeanneane Theiss (Jay) of Wooster and Jonathan Elmore (Michelle) of Jeffersonville, IN; his grandchildren, John Elmore (Beth), Robert Elmore (Lindsey), Jared Elmore, Josh Elmore, Chelsea Besic (Cuni) and Christina Valure (Tony); and his great grandchildren, Layla, Leonardo Besic, Gabriel, Elliott Elmore, Shane, Hailey, Leah and Brianna Valure. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
