He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Oliver Downey and Carrie Lou Allman Downey; and his sister Jennie M. Downey. He is survived by: his siblings, Linda Stiles (Roger) of Columbus, Tina Ervin (Forrest) of Athens and David Downey (Tammy) of Marietta; his nieces and nephews, Todd Stiles, Shelby Richey (Rusty), Matthew Ervin (Jennifer), Amanda Ervin, Cody Thomas, Brandon Marling and Nathan Marling; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Rusty Ray Richey, Jackie Richey, Isaiah Ervin, Thaddeus Gouzoulis, Sebastian Gouzoulis, Gabriella Gouzoulis, Atticus Gouzoulis, Connor Ervin, Noah Marling, Jaxson Marling, Ripley Marling and Lincoln Thomas; his cousins, Sue, Sandy, Jim, Darla and Linda; and also Jeffery Greathouse.
