Michael Collins Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Collins of Athens, Ohio, who passed away on January 18, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald G. Collins and Louise Beal Collins; his brothers, Dean, Gene and John; and his nephews, Anthony E. and Kristopher Michael Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Allison Oliver Collins; his children, Lee Michael, Michele Gehring and Casey (Ashley); his stepsons, Charles Penix "Cassey" and Andrew Dempsey (Emma); his siblings, David, Lillian, Richard, Joyce, Jeffrey and Margaret; and his close friends, David and Jeanne Flecher of Missouri. He is also survived by Several grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bigony-Jordan Funeral Home (5258 Washington Rd, Albany, OH 45710). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
