Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Michael Braasch of Athens, Ohio, born in West Allis, Wisconsin, who passed away at the age of 58, on September 22, 2024. Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Michael touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Braasch and Doris Braasch. He is survived by: his wife Soo Yin Braasch; his daughters, Marie Braasch Chelberg (Chris) of Burlingame, CA and Mindy Yong Braasch of Aliso Viejo, CA; and his sisters, Patricia Braasch of Central, NC and Cheryl Hasson Rushton (Steve) of Pendleton, NC..
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Jagers & Sons Funeral Home (24 Morris Ave, Athens, OH 45701). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
