Lois Jean Ellis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 21, 2023, at the age of 91, Lois Jean Ellis of Athens, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Nichols and Sally Nichols; her husband Fred C. Ellis; her son F. Samuel Ellis; and her siblings, James C. Nichols (Mildred), Milton H. Nichols (Blanche) and Irene Mee.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Braden of Athens, Julie Gunter (Mark) of Portsmouth, VA and Jennifer Jackson (Tony) of Athens; and her close friend Mary Ellis. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
