With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karla Mitchell of Athens, Ohio, who passed away on November 22, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Karla departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Karla. Though Karla may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Geiger and Barbara Lent Geiger; and her brother Steve Geiger. She is survived by: her close friend Dennis Chapman; her daughter Kendra Mitchell (Ariel Zeno) of Colorado; her granddaughter Olivia; her brothers, Eric Geiger of New York, Russ Geiger of Texas and Kurt Geiger of Florida; and her great-niece Hope. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
