He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Fiala and Julianna Kozlinski Fiala; his sister Eugenia "Jean" Fiala; and his niece Jeanine Schweinberg. He is survived by: his children, Michele and Joseph; his daughter-in-law Emaline; his grandchildren, Olivia, Scott and Asa; his nephews, Richard and Ronald Schweinberg; and his former wife Stephanie Cramer.
During the pandemic, he turned his home into "Poppy's Daycare.".
